Fusing jazz with Mapuche rhythms and cueca, this piano, bass, and drum trio features legendary Chilean bassist and composer Ernesto Holman, one of Chile’s most renowned bass players and a member of the indigenous Mapuche community. 

He has been an integral part of the rock and jazz scene for the past 40 years, a dedicated bass ambassador who has changed the musical landscape by elevating the instrument beyond the rhythm section and recasting it as a melodic necessity. 

With Josue Villalobos on drums and Gustavo Cerqueiras on piano, the @holman_trio offers a unique musical fusion of ancestral Chilean rhythms, cueca, and modern jazz harmonies.
