Cariguá Trio

The group’s history began in 2014 when the trio participated in the show “Cantando o Grande Circo Místico” based on the work of Edu Lobo and Chico Buarque.
The following year, they were invited to the Project +Música at the Oscar Niemayer Museum in Curitiba.
In the concert “Cheio de Bossa”, alongside Leny Andrade and Zé Luiz Mazziotti, the trio was finally consolidated. This meeting, for sure, was the fuel that generated Cariguá Trio.
In their debut album “O Olho”, Fabio Cardoso (piano), Fernando Rivabem (drums), and Sandro Guaraná (bass) present original music featuring Leny Andrade and Fabio Hess.
Recorded at Trilhas Urbanas Studio, the album also contains songs of João Donato, Cartola and Luis Eça.
The album’s release concert took place in December 2018 at one of Curitiba’s most traditional theaters – Teatro Paiol, the perfect setting for recording audio-visual material available on YouTube.
