Lataty is a singer, composer, researcher, educator, luthier, and Chilean artisan.
Her deep sense of rootedness to the land and its people prompts her to look for traditional Chilean songs, orality and popular poetry, Latin American ternary rhythms, particularly in the Chilean Cueca.
All this is the essence of her creative inspiration that has been condensed in the double album “Küla Folk & Pop”.
This work allowed her to enter into the music scene and gave her recognition as a composer in important competitions and festivals.
She has postgraduate academic training in cultural studies, pedagogy, and ethnomusicological investigation.
Also, she has extensive experience in collective creation and integrated arts.
