Fede Blois & Comunión Total

Fede Blois & Comunión Total

Comunión Total is an Afro-Uruguayan project that fuses world rhythms with modern sounds.
It moves from Candombe to Jazz, from the street to the stage.
The proposal is committed to revalue and resignifying the Candombe, a traditional musical genre of Uruguay – historical heritage (UNESCO) – proposing a contemporary fusion approach.
Comunión Total was nominated for Best Candombe Fusion Album at the Premios Graffiti, and has performed in the main venues and festivals of Montevideo and Uruguay (Teatro Solís, Auditorio Nacional de Sodre, Festival Internacional de Jazz a la Calle)
The project is led by the composer and percussionist Fede Blois, one of the most solicited session players on the Argentine and Uruguayan music scene.
