Juan Pablo Navarro Septeto
Juan Pablo Navarro Septeto has become one of the greatest exponents of the current music scene. He proposes his powerful and intimate message, mixing flashes of a new sound from Buenos Aires with an innovative proposal of Tango rooted music and strong influences from jazz and contemporary music.
The band is directed d by Juan Pablo Navarro, double bass and composition.
In the line-up, we find other internationally renowned musicians: Nicolás Enrich on bandoneon, Bruno Cavallaro on violin, Sebastián Tozzolla on clarinet, and bass clarinet, Esteban Falabella on guitar, Emiliano Greco on piano, and Sergio Verdinelli on battery and vibraphone.
The group has performed in the main venues of Argentina.
In May 2019 they toured Europe, performing in renowned theaters such as De Doelen in Rotterdam and Bozar in Brussels.
At the end of that year, at the Kirchner Cultural Center, he premiered “Avalancha”, a work conceived by Navarro for his septet.
The piece was interpreted with the Orquesta Nacional de Música Argentina Juan de Dios Filiberto.
The group has released two albums: Tangos de la Posverdad, and Los Dopados, recorded live with guest Fito Páez.
