Marcella Ceraolo
Marcella Ceraolo (1987, Las Piedras, Canelones, Uruguay), is an Uruguayan composer, singer, musician and vocal trainer.
In 2007, at the age of 20, she released her first album “Diez Minutos Antes”, in 2012 “Cuerpo Carbón”, in 2017 “Luz Particular” and 2019 the EP “Exodo”.
A central key in her career has been a consistent live activity and multiple collaborations with South American artists (Argentina-Brazil) and Europe (Spain and Eastern Europe) as well as participation in national and regional festivals.
She owns an eclectic musical identity as a result of an experimental fusion of different world rhythms with Uruguayan and Brazilian musical roots.
Since 2019 he resides in Mallorca (Spain) where he founded teaming with Malditoscantautores_ib, the “Micro Abierto de Autorxs”, a successful weekly meeting open to lyrics, music, and songs composers.
She keeps a close link with Uruguay, spending several months there performing concerts and recording;
She performs live as a “Solo Set” (loops, guitar, and voice), and as a band, with Gerardo Alonso on Bass, Eduardo Mauris on Guitar, and Nicolás Parrillo on drums.
