Mariano Loiácono Quintet

The Mariano Loiácono Quintet has been on stage for more than ten years. Although its leader has recorded with other line-ups, he always keeps active his main quintet.
The group is completed with the Trumpet player, Sebastián Loiácono on tenor saxophone; Ernesto Jodos on piano; Jerónimo Carmona on double bass and Sebastián Mamet on drums.
The group won the Diploma de Honor Konex for its trajectory since it has participated in important Jazz Festivals and it is currently a leader in the Argentinian Jazz scene.
The quintet has played with great jazz musicians such as Vincent Herring, Antonio Hart, Sheila Jordan, Carl Allen, Cyrus Chestnut, or Clarence Penn, among others, in their visits to Bs. As.
