Rafael Marcelino

Rafael Marcelino is a Mexican composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist.
He was born in Queretaro, Mexico.
He started playing music at the late age of 18.
In 2006 he moved to Madrid, to study in “Escuela de Musica Creativa” under teachers such as multi-instrumentalist Alain Perez.
In 2010 he moved to the Netherlands, graduating from Rotterdam Conservatory CODARTS in the area of World Music electric bass.
From 2014 to date, Rafael has been active as a bassist, percussionist, and composer, arranger, and producer in the Mexican Jazz & World Music scene.
He released the album “Rafael Marcelino & La Mística” (2018)
