Roberto Rutigliano & Sexteto AfroJazz

A new project that mixes songs from the sacred Brazilian Afro tradition with the freedom of jazz, Latin rhythms and compositions of its own as well as those of other authors.
We can hear a song dedicated to Oxum, “O vento” by Dorival Caymmi, “Berimbau” by Baden Powell and Vinicius de Moraes together with “Drume Negrita” by Cuban Bola de Nieve
In the band we have: Zero Telles on percussion, José Arimatea on trumpet, Luana Mallet on voice, Adaury Mothé on keyboard, Zé Luis Maia on double bass and Roberto Rutigliano on drums.
